Festival of Spanish Dance and Flamenco in Rome
8-16 Jan. A new festival dedicated to Spanish dance, with a particular focus on flamenco, takes place Auditorium Parco della Musica from 8-16 Jan.
The festival, which is held in collaboration of the Spanish embassy and the Cervantes Institute, will host some of the best contemporary flamenco dancers who will perform in five shows never seen in Italy.
The festival is accompanied by an exhibition of images of Spanish dancers by photographer Jesús Castañar, on display from 18 December in the Auditorium's Foyer Petrassi. For more details see website.
