21 June-19 Aug 2006. Twinned with Stratford-Upon-Avons Shakesperearian Festival, the event opens with A Midsummer Nights Dream directed by Tim Supple with Indian street artists. It is followed by The Merchant of Venice and a production of Julius Caesar directed by Tim Stark. Great Italian actor Giorgio Albertazzi is part of a performance dedicated to Shakespeare and Jazz, and Goldonis play Putta Onorata closes the season.
