Festival Suona Francese
The initiative showcases both French and Italian talent on the contemporary music scene with over 130 concerts all over Italy featuring music by modern composers. The festival, resolutely oriented towards the future, highlights the promotion of French culture within Italy and the plurality of musical languages. On a diplomatic level it is also a model of collaboration between the conservatoires of both countries, a collaboration of young musicians seen as “the foundation of the future”. The articulated and varied programme also includes a series of meetings between professionals and master-class sessions. While the festival is national in scope many events take place in Rome at venues around the city. For information www.institutfrancais-italia.com.
