The French choreographer, dancer, photographer, and short film director Karine Saporta says she founded her company in order to redefine contemporary modern dance. She has collaborated with artists like Peter Greenaway and Michael Nyman and her iconoclastic choreography is influenced by Indian dance and urban/hip hop dance as well as other dance forms from around the world. Rayon X, produced in collaboration with Fabbrica Europa, is an ironic reflection on eros and gender.
