22 June-9 Sept. As always, the programme features a mix of events in which Italian drama and protagonists of the Italian theatrical stage stand out. Almost every evening throughout the summer music, dance, cinema and theatre performances come to life on the specially constructed stage in front of the beautiful fountain (il “Fontanone”) on the Gianicolo. It is flanked by a panoramic bar and restaurant overlooking the roofs of Rome.
