The fifth edition of "Francofilm, Francophone Film Festival of Rome" takes place in the capital from 14-21 March.

Organised by the Institut français - Centre Saint-Louis, the programme includes 11 feature films in competition from Belgium, Bulgaria, Canada / Quebec, France, Lebanon, Luxembourg, Morocco, Romania, Senegal, Switzerland and Tunisia.

The festival features a week of screenings, some of them premieres, with numerous concerts and encounters with directors, ending on 21 March with an awarding ceremony.

There is free admission to the festival whose films are screened in their original language with Italian subtitles.
