1 June-1 Aug. Piazza S. Cosimato in the Trastevere district becomes a free open-air cinema this summer, from 1 June until 1 August.

For more than 60 nights the public can enjoy a diverse programme of films featuring everything from Disney and Pixar classics (in English with Italian subtitles) to Italian comedies, documentaries, and retrospectives dedicated to Martin Scorsese and Wim Wenders.

The screenings take place at 21.15, in Italian, while many week nights are enlivened by debates with artists, writers and film critics.

The Festival Cinema Trastevere is organised by the Piccolo Cinema America with the support of the city.
