7 June-15 Sept. The second edition of Gianicolo in musica returns to Rome's Janiculum hill with an outdoor programme of jazz, soul, blues, swing and tango on summer nights until mid-September.
The festival's line-up includes Italian and international musicians such as Enrico Rava, Rita Marcotulli, Fabrizio Bosso, Enrico Pieranunzi, Rosario Giuliani, GeGé Telesforo, Dario Deidda, Christian Sands, Seamus Blake, Ben Wendel, Jed Levy, Peter Bernstein.

Based in Piazzale Garibaldi, with its sweeping views over the city, the music festival is part of the capital's Estate Romana summer programme of cultural events. Entry is free with the exception of some special evenings. For full programme details see website or Facebook page.
