The focus is on the music of Petrassi, and his influence on contemporary music, a decade after his death. Central to the programme is his composition Sestina D’autunno. Veni Creator Igor in homage to Stravinsky.
There is also music by other composers of the Roman school, Mauro Bortolotti, Alessandro Sbordoni, Marcello Panni, Francesco Pennisi and Ennio Morricone.
The concert is in collaboration with the Nuova Consonanza.
