Grear Patterson at American Academy
American artist Grear Patterson uses romanticised nostalgia for lost innocence and childhood rituals in his exhibition entitled Forest Theater.
The show is named after the place that provided the artist with his most significant formative experiences, including the highs and lows of adolescence.
Curated by Peter Benson Miller, the exhibition features photographs, videos, paintings and sculptures that evoke both personal and collective rites of passage.
Open to visitors on Fri, Sat and Sun from 16.00-19.00.
