A key event in Barcelona's cultural calendar, this 29th Grec festival boasts over 40 dance, theatre and music shows, covering everything from art and literature to flamenco and classical music. The larger music events, featuring artists like Brian Wilson, Bebe & Elbicho, and international stars such as Joss Stone and Craig David, take place in the Poble Espanyol. Other major names include Marianne Faithfull at the Teatre Grec, and contemporary dance diva Trisha Brown. After an absence from the stage of nearly 20 years, her three choreographies are eagerly awaited.
