The Casa dei Teatri dedicates an exhibition to the acclaimed Russian dancer and choreographer Yuri Grigorovich on the occasion of his 85th birthday. Through photographs, video and theatre designs, the exhibition highlights Grigorovich's important role in the history of 20th-century Russian ballet and dance. As the artistic director of Moscow's Bolshoi Theatre from the 1960s to the 1990s, Grigorovich was influential in shaping the direction of Russian choreography, merging the classical tradition with new forms of dialogue between dance, theatre, music and light.
