Hannu Palosuo
Memoria Obliterata. Born in Helsinki in 1966, Hannu Palosuo lives and works between Finland and Rome and has collaborated as stage designer for important theatres and opera houses in Italy. He has also exhibited his artwork at international exhibitions including the 53rd Venice Biennale. Palosuo’s latest paintings merge symbols, meanings and references in a sort of undifferentiated – dreamlike – logic. Compared to previous works, the paintings on show are related more closely to the traditions of western art history and contain very few or no references to the new Nordic or Finnish cultures. 09.30-18.30.
