Harley Davidson celebrations in Rome
Thousands of Harley Davidson bikers are expected to rumble into Rome for a four-day celebration in honour of the motorcycle's 110th anniversary from 13-16 June.
The event begins in Ostia on 13 June, with a bike show scheduled at the Foro Italico the next day while on 15 June there is a rally from Ostia to Rome city centre.
The four-day festival ends in St Peter's Square with a "Blessing of the Motorbikes" by Pope Francis on 16 June, during which there will be parking reserved for 1,400 motorbikes on Via della Conciliazione.
