Here the dreamers sleep
Inspired by the history of Hendrik Christian Andersen and his family, considered great dreamers, artist Andrea Mastrovito presents an exhibition that alternates nightmare and sleep, dream and reality, and evokes the concept of Utopia so prevalent in Andersen's work.
Giving a nod to the Norwegian's grandiose sculptures downstairs, Mastrovito draws pencil portraits of Andersen and his relations onto four concrete classical garden statues located on the first floor of the building.
