Free guided tour in English in the Historical Museum of Communication: from the beacons on the hilltops to the modern satellite.
On behalf of the Ministry of Economic Development I am delighted to offer you a guided tour in English through the history of communication in Europe and other places around the world. The Museum houses communication of all types, including one of the biggest stamp collection in Europe, 19th century telegraphs and a II WW Enigma code machine. Entry is free and the guided tour will last around two hours. Feel free to contact me to arrange time of visit. Tours will be available by arrangements most likely on Tuesdays (in the morning from 11am until 1pm and in the afternoon from 4.30pm until 6.30pm) and on Wednesdays (in the afternoon from 4.30pm until 6.30pm). The first tour date available will be on the 11th of June. Group bookings available by arrangement. The Museum is located in the Ministry of Economic Development in Viale Europa on the corner of Via Cristoforo Colombo (EUR area). The metro station EUR PALASPORT is two minutes walk. Please contact Emanuela Trebbi on emanuela.trebbi@mise.gov.it and see you soon!
