22 April. Hortus Urbis, the garden in the Appia Antica Park with solely ancient Roman plants, is holding a hands-on workshop entitled Bees & Garden Friends at 10.00 and 11.00 on Sunday 22 April. The 50-minute event, in English, is aimed at children aged from four to 12.
Organisers will make a small garden for bees, for butterflies or for ladybirds to take away with you. Participants can choose a garden for one of the insect friends of the garden, and will be provided with all they need including seeds and pots.
