12 Sept 2003-2 Feb 2004. Portraits of important members of the Medici dynasty document the Florentine art of jewellery-making from the 15th to the 18th centuries. Most of the actual jewels no longer exist: they were either adapted to new fashions, or used as hard currency in times of need.
