Il Lago dei Cigni ovvero Il Canto
6-8 March. This new choreography by Fabrizio Monteverdi is as revolutionary in its own way as the Matthew Bourne's Swan Lake. A cast of 14 aging dancers are the protagonists, living out old memories as they organise their last performance of Swan Lake, hoping for a happy ending. This is Monteverdi's fifth choreography for the Balletto di Roma.
