Illuminating Poetry: Pre-Raphaelite and Beyond
29 Jan-28 April. An exhibition at the Keats-Shelley House shows a selection of books and manuscripts revealing how book illustration in the late 19th and early 20th century was influenced by mediaeval illumination.
Curated by Giuseppe Albano and Dinah Roe, the exhibition displays items from the Keats-Shelley House collection, while others are on loan from the National Library of Scotland, the Fitzwilliam Museum in Cambridge, the American Academy in Rome, and from private collections.
Entrance to the exhibition is included in the standard museum entrance ticket.
