Inspiral Carpets in Rome
This enduring English alternative rock band performs on the 25th anniversary of Rome's Circolo degli Artisti.
Founded in Manchester in 1983 by guitarist Graham Lambert and vocalist Stephen Holt, the group split in 1995 but reformed eight years later and now comprises most of its original crew.
The band's sound is characterised by psychedelic organs and guitars and reached the peak of its fame around 1990.
