Jack Hirschman in Rome
Leading American counterculture poet and social activist Jack Hirschman comes to Rome where he will appear at Teatro Valle Occupato with the Italian jazz orchestra TJO on Tuesday 6 May.
The creative performance Poesia in Jazz will combine music and improvisation with the poetry of Hirschman, whose long career has seen him collaborate with legendary literary figures such as Ernest Hemingway, Charles Bukowski, Jack Kerouac and Allen Ginsberg.
