11 Feb-20 Feb 2005. This years Jameson Dublin International Film Festival (DIFF) promises a real treat for film lovers with over 100 films from 34 countries scheduled for its eager audiences. The highlights this year include the World Premiere of Pearse Elliott's The Mighty Celt, starring Gillian Anderson and Robert Carlyle, Danny Boyle's Millions the Centrepiece Gala this time around, and the closing film, The Life Aquatic by Wes Anderson, starring Bill Murray, Owen Wilson, Cate Blanchett, Anjelica Huston and Willem Dafoe. There is a Festival Retrospective in honour of Gianni Amelio showcasing his extraordinary career. Other highlights include Woody Allen's Melinda and Melinda with Will Ferrell, Jonny Lee Miller and Chloe Sevigny, Terry Loane's Mickybo & Me, and Zhang Yimou's House of Flying Daggers during the festivals Asian Horizons event.
