15 Nov. Rome's Vitala Festival presents Thieves & Poets Project: Jazz Trio in Concert & Voice at Teatro S. Genesio on Monday 15 October at 21.00.

Founded by the young Roman pianist/composer Gerardo Del Monte, the trio brings on stage new songs and classic standards, in modern arrangements, conceived as a fusion between past and present, described as a "journey through new Jazz trends with an eye on the future." Del Monte is joined by Federico Procopio on bass and Federico Martocchia on drums, with the trio accompanied for the evening by special guest singer Chiara Piccione.

The concert is part of the seventh season of the self-funded Vitala Festival which promotes live music and visual arts. Doors open at 20.00, with optional buffet with refreshments available.
