Kaarina Kaikkonen
The z2o Sara Zanin Gallery presents its third solo show by Finnish artist Kaarina Kaikkonen who also exhibited in Museo Nazionale delle Arti del XXI secolo (MAXXI) in 2012.
Based in Helsinki, Kaikkonen is known internationally for her environmental projects and exhibitions created from discarded clothes, shoes and cutlery.
Kaikkonen uses starch to stiffen the clothes in her installations which tell stories of past existences as well as everyday life.
