Under the subtitle I luoghi del sapere nel mondo antico, this exhibition at the Colosseum examines the libraries and places of knowledge from ancient times.
Curators Rossella Rea and Roberto Meneghini illustrate the evolution of books and reading from the Hellenistic period to late antiquity.
Divided into seven sections, the show features 120 statues, frescoes and reliefs, as well as ancient writing tools.
