La Landriana in bloom
La Landriana will open its Russel Page designed gardens south of Rome on Fri 23-Sun 25 April. The Taverna family has opened its estate near Tor S. Lorenzo for the three-day spring fair for ten years, attracting about 10,000 visitors each year. Along with the garden visit, the La Landriana event features a large garden sale with bulbs, fruit trees, bonsai, orchids, roses, plants, books, garden tools, soils and other garden supplies. Plant experts will also be on hand to give advice about gardening. The fair is open 10.00-19.00 on all three days. Tickets are 4.50 for the garden sale, or 8 including entrance to the estate gardens. Children under eight enter for free, while the ticket for those aged 8-14 costs 2 for the fair or 5 with the garden visit. Discounts are available for groups.
