La palma dell’eleganza
In 1996, Palma Bucarelli, the legendary director and superintendent of Rome’s National Gallery of Modern Art from 1941 to 1975, donated her wardrobe to the Boncompagni Ludovisi Museum dedicated to decorative arts, costume and fashion design. The exhibition, divided into different sections (simple day dresses, cocktail dresses, evening wear, accessories, etc) includes about 100 beautiful garments or accessories, as well as photographs from family albums and a video showing a selection of interviews with Palma Bucarelli: a fascinating and powerful woman, rich in culture and good taste.
