3 Apr-6 July 2008. On temporary loan from the Museo Civico of Mantua, the splendid bronze sculpture representing the head of Queen Arsinoe III dating back to the 3rd century BC. Arsinoe was the daughter of Queen Berenice II and Ptolemy III Euergetes of Egypt. She was also sister and wife of Ptolemy IV Philopator, and powerless to arrest the decline of the Ptolemaic kingdom under her debauched husband
