From Wednesday 14 to Saturday 17 June, 120 lady professionals from all over the world will participate in the BMW Ladies Italian Open, a 72 hole competition (18 holes per day). For the second year running, Golf Club Parco de Medici, near EUR just off the Fiumicino motorway, is hosting the event. The club is situated in the same grounds as the Sheraton hotel, and in proximity to the recently developed Warner Village. Play begins early in the morning and continues throughout the day. Following the first 36 holes, the field is reduced to roughly 60 participants, the top scorers acceding to the final two rounds. Entry to the club to assist at the event is free of charge.
