The Turkish artist and photographer Arif Asci pays tribute to the courageous men who led camel trains on new commercial routes from the East to the West during the sixth and fifth centuries BC. To do this he headed a camel caravan along the ancient route from Xian to Istanbul, travelling the 12,000 kms in 18 months with eight men and ten camels. The exhibition features photographs and audio-visual material produced by Asci during his journey.
