This exhibition provides a detailed comparison between two great masters of the Italian Renaissance by contrasting 66 drawings from the Leonardo collection of the Biblioteca Ambrosiana in Milan and the Michelangelo collection from the Casa Buonarroti Foundation in Florence. Often considered rivals, the two artists were actually admirers of each other's work. The exhibition presents masterpieces from both collections and sheds light on the artists
