Leonidas Kavakos violin and Yuja Wang piano play Brahms.
The frequent summer appearances of Kavakos and Wang have now been extended to include an autumn Italian tour (Rome, Florence, Milan, Ferrara, Naples) focusing on the violin and piano sonatas of Brahms.
Wang, who trained at Beijing’s Central Conservatory of Music, achieved international recognition in her teens (she was born in 1986). She has already played with most of the world’s major orchestras and under the best conductors. She records for Deutsche Grammophon, has an all-inclusive repertoire and a wardrobe that woos all who watch her.
