Les Etourdis (literally "The Scatterbrains) do everything the wrong way: their bodies escape their control, they are overwhelmed by vertigo, they are tipsy on absurdity. All the performers on stage go wildly off track. They are carried along at the whim of a chance that makes boxes move by themselves, slaps people without visibly hitting them and swallows faxes before the addressees can read them. It is all highly evocative of Charlie Chaplin and Jerry Lewis, and the dazzled spectator is sucked into a world of pure fantasy when two garden chairs give birth to an aeroplane.
