4-14 June. Teatro India finishes up for the summer by staging a production of L’Esposizione Universale, the award-winning play by Italian dramatist Luigi Squarzina (1922-2010).
Directed by Piero Maccarinelli, the powerful play is set in Rome in the aftermath of world war two and examines a range of issues including individual and family histories, ideological conflicts and social decay, set against a background of post-war property speculation in the area of the capital now known as EUR.
