When she burst onto the dance scene during the 1980s with the company La La La Human Steps, Lecavalier captured the attention of the public and the critics with her vertiginous acrobatics. The star of contemporary Canadian dance has since gone solo but here she presents a work that includes three other performers, each of them different but complementary to each other and to the choreography. Tedd Robinson, described as half angelhalf vampire provides a theatrical dimension; Marc Boivin, perhaps the most traditional of the dancers, with a very strong technique, is the ideal collaborator with whom to conceive and develop daring choreography; Masaharu Imazu brings with him strong oriental roots and the fascination of butoh.
