29 July. If you haven't already seen Ludovico Einaudi in concert, if you haven't seen him play his latest composition Seven Days Walking, and if you can still get tickets, then this concert is a treat in store.

Seven Days Walking is made up of seven sections, connected by the same theme but with seven variations. The composition was inspired by Einaudi's walks in the Alps in January 2018. Einaudi explains that each day he would take a walk roughly the same way, but each day find a new element in the snowy landscape, all of which inspired the theme and the structure of the composition.

Einaudi is used to the challenges of the acoustics at the Baths of Caracalla because he performed his Elements Tour there two years ago. 

Day One of the seven days was released in March 2019 and each subsequent Day is being released over a seven-month period until the whole album is finally available in the autumn.
