Luigi Rossini: Il Viaggio Segreto
An exhibition dedicated to the series of Roman engravings of Luigi Rossini (Ravenna 1790 - Rome 1857).
The architect and engraver is considered by many as the last great illustrator of the wonders of Rome, after Giuseppe Vasi and Giovanni Battista Piranesi.
The exhibition features watercolours, drawings and prints on loan from private collections, as well as works from the institute's permanent collection.
