Teatro S. Genesio in Prati hosts Shane Harnett's Maggie 'n' Brigid
2-7 April. Wonderwall Entertainment presents the world premiere production of Maggie 'n' Brigid, an original English-language play, written by Shane Harnett and directed by Michael Fitzpatrick.
Maggie and Brigid rekindle their friendship after decades by taking a trip to Rome to see the pope. The two women set off on a road trip that defines who they are and how they relate to each other, strengthening a friendship forged by tenderness, venom and humour.
Starring Maggie Davies and Shelagh Stuchbery.
The play is recommended for mature audiences, as it includes the use of adult language.
2-5 April 20.30. 6-7 April 17.30. The 5 and 7 April performances will be followed by a Q&A session with Harnett, a long-term Rome resident originally from Ireland.
