21, 22 June 2009. In Hidden and Giotto solo, choreography by Carolyn Carlson. With Hidden, a quartet for dancers from the National Choreographic Centre, Carlson draws on the spirituality of music by Finnish composer Kaija Saariaho. Giotto solo, choreographed and performed by Carlson herself in 2002 to music by Gavin Bryars, projects dancers into the allegories of hope, jealousy and infidelity depicted in the 14 tableaux by Giotto in the Scrovegni Chapel in Padua.
