Margaret Atwood in Rome
Rome's Festival of Literature ends on 17 September with a tribute to the celebrated Canadian writer Margaret Atwood.
Entitled Ritratto allo specchio (Portrait in the Mirror) the event will see the Man Booker prize-winning author read excerpts from her books and reflect on her work and their themes.
The reading takes place at Teatro Argentina at 21.00, and entry is free until all seats are taken.
The event is the final appointment of the extremely popular Festival of Literature which was held in the Piazza del Campidoglio earlier in the summer.
