Marina Paris. 62+3
Amplifying the perception of architecture has long been the motive of Rome-based artist Marina Paris whose installations now magnify the already monumental spaces at the National Gallery of Modern Art (GNAM). Paris uses her installations to increase the gallery's 62 rooms to 65, by adding a further three rooms, decorated with views of Rome and the city's historic buildings. However the artist has chosen to hide the location of these rooms which visitors will have to find without the aid of a map. The exhibition is curated by Claudio Libero Pisano and Angelandreina Rorro. Galleria Nazionale d'Arte Moderna (GNAM), Viale delle Belle Arti 131, tel. 0632298221, www.gnam.beniculturali.it.
