Marion Greenstone. Pop Art a New York 1960-1970
The Museo Carlo Bilotti presents 14 Pop Art works by Brooklyn artist Marion Greenstone (1925-2005) whose contribution to the art world has only been recognised in recent years.
The works on show are from the 1960s and cover Greenstone's extensive oeuvre from her early abstract expressionist work to her final hyper-realism stage.
Greenstone studied and painted in Italy for a couple of years in the mid-1950s and the works on show come from the private collection of her sister.
