The young German painter, who lives in Rome, paints neat shapes and colours, which at first glance look like thoughtful abstractions. At second sight however, they reveal themselves as fragments of womens bodies, tightly encased in space. The limbs gather to make a cool elegant pattern of negative and positive space. Edith Schloss
