Wanted in Rome editor Mary Wilsey Venturini, a long-standing member of the Rome Committee of the Keats-Shelley Memorial Association, reflects on her recent experience volunteering at a refugee centre in the province of Ragusa, Sicily, during a talk at the Keats-Shelley House at 18.30 on Friday 19 May.
Titled Mediterranean Migration: From Ithaca to Pozzallo, the talk, which will be followed by a discussion, is described "an evening of people, places, and poetry without the politics, and of human stories without statistics."
