Celebrating the importance of photography as an historical witness this event unfolds in two separate venues: the Complesso di S. Michele a Trastevere, and the Museo Luigi Pigorini. It is organised in collaboration with the ministry of culture to highlight the value of photographic archives and to encourage their good management. There are 16 different photo exhibitions on show, with works from private and public archives, chosen to represent diverse geographic areas and cultural contexts.
