Miró exhibition in Rome
Paintings and sculpture by Miró on display in Rome.
22 March-11 May. Palazzo Montorio, the magnificent residence of the Spanish ambassador in Rome, hosts Universo Miró, an exhibition dedicated to Joan Miró (1893-1983), the celebrated Spanish painter, sculptor and ceramicist.
The exhibition, open from 22 March until 11 May, allows the public to admire three paintings and two sculptures created by Miró between 1972 and 1974, in a usually inaccessible venue on the Janiculum hill.
The exhibition is organised thanks to collaboration between Abertis Infraestructuras, Fundación Privada Abertis, Fundació Joan Miró and the Spanish embassy in Italy.
