A mojito festival is taking place in the Testaccio district of Rome from 13-20 July, every evening from 19.30-01.30. The week-long "L'ambasciata del Mojito" festival is based at the Campo Boario, near MACRO Testaccio. Here Mojito fans can enjoy the refreshing Cuban cocktail made from the original recipe, invented at the Bodeguita del Medio bar in Havana in 1942. Experts will be on hand to reveal the secrets behind creating the perfect Mojito, and there will also be Salsa dancing along with music, art and culture from Cuba.
