The basic philosophy of MIDM is the concept of integration integration of people, of African and western cultures and the integration of academic education and the arts. The organisation provides interdisciplinary education and dance training. Its mission is to use the creative media of dance and other disciplines to train, educate, develop and empower youth and adults from historically disadvantaged communities in South Africa.
