Muri Scuri street art tours and live painting in Rome

Muri Scuri returns to Rome with street art tours of the Quadraro district as well as the live painting of two new murals by internationally-celebrated Roman street artists - Alice Pasquini and Alessandra Carloni - on 16 and 17 March.

Donations raised during the third edition of Muri Scuri will to the town of Grisciano, which was struck by an earthquake in 2016.

The initiative involves 100 guides leading tours around the quarter which has become synonymous with street art thanks to the efforts of MURo Urban Art Museum of Rome.

The tour timetable is 10.00, 11.00, 12.00, 14.30, 15.15 and 16.00, meeting at Parco di Monte del Grano (entry Via Asconio Pediano).

There are also workshops for children at 11.00 and 15.30 at CSOA Spartaco on Via Selinunte 57.

On 17 March at 17.30 at CSOA Spartaco, there will be a final event with the partecipation of Carloni and Pasquini, together with street artist and MURo founder David Diavù, Paolo Masini President of Associazione Roma BPA, Fabrizio Filabozzi for Ass. Amici di Grisciano, Valerio Valentini winner of the Campiello Opera Prima award for "Gli 80 di Camporammaglia" and the Guides of Muri Sicuri Ets.

Reservation is required and spaces on the tour can be booked through the Facebook event page or the Muri Scuri website.
